Another "Pond" report coming from up my way.

Me and BoHunterBiff made the trip to vernon lake yesterday about 0530. Was on the water by 0630. Made a run to our spot to look for schoolies and found stiff 10mph wind. Made a run to get out of the wind, nothing producing. Marked fish on the fishfinder hanging around brush piles, but couldnt get 'em to bite. About 9:15 we went back to our first spot and set-up anchor on a point and had fish busting shad. We managed 4 keeper bass and one sac-au-lait. Caught the fish on weightless watermelon seed flukes, spook jr in black/chrome and sexy shad crankbaits.
