Spending a few days with the fam on the West End. Decided to take the yak out in search of some hungry trout. I had never fished the area, so my expectations were low. Dropped in just East of SLP on the bay side. The tide was moving and mullet were everywhere. Caught some solid trout in 2-3 ft on a grass flat. Hard to beat an unexpected morning like this out of a yak.
