Default Solo trip 6-22

After asking 6 different people to come with me and all having to work, I decided that I would go solo. Wind was not as light as the weather guru said it would be byt I guess I am used to that. In the lake by 6am and birds working from Turner's to Commissary. Most fish were dinks. One keeper for every 6 caught. Water further south was ugly so headed along the NE bank from comm pt. Water was great and bait everywhere. Could not get on a consistent bite anywhere. Finally along the east bank got some blow ups on the skitterwalk and managed a few fish with one red taking TW. Right after the red I had another hookup and drag started singing so of course I figured another red. After a couple of runs I saw the tail and knew it was a nice trout. 24 incher and right at the 5lb mark on my scale which is not real good. Had 4 other good trout take the tw but come off on the way to the boat. Ended up with 9 trout 1 red and a doormat.
