"W" I will tell you how mine got cured. A doctor told me to do this and I did it. it was probably 5 years ago. before i did this i too would wear a band. it hurt most of the time.

here is what he said to do, that I did and have not had a problem since. he said that when you do hot and cold type applications of 15 minutes it never really shrinks all the inflammation. or the same is true of just the cold application. what you have to do is do cold for as long as you can stand it, but at least 25 minutes. he said put elbow in ice but you have to protect your skin from freezing. so either wrap your elbow or the ice.

I think i put my elbow in a large zip lock and stuck it down in the ice water. it starts to hurt at about 10 minutes. i think i did it for 30 minutes. I think I only did it one time. maybe twice and that was it.

you might just put the ice and water in a zip lock and put on your forearm where it hurts.
