That's correct.

My buddy bought a marine digital antenna from a local place for $120. It catches 27 local stations. As far as hooking it into your TV, you may need to get the adapter that goes from a RCA jack to a single cable input if your old TV doesn't have an RCA input. If it’s not "cable ready" you will need to get one of those things that goes from a cable input to the split ends thing that you screw into the back of your TV, I haven't seen one of those in 25yrs though.

Another option if you have direct TV is to find an old dish and hook it up at your camp, when you leave for the weekend bring a DirecTV box with you and watch TV.

Some TV's also come with digital tuners built in but you not going to get as wide a range of channels as you would if you have a digital antennae.
