Salt away for flushing motor?
I was thinking about getting some salt away and the mixing bottle to try and clean my water passages on a 99 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke, when I look inside the Thermostat hole I see a rust colored build up on the walls that I can scratch off with my fingernail. The reason I am wanting to do this is I am getting an overheat alarm only at high rpms above 4400. I have changed every part possible and still have problem. Does anyone have any experience with this product good or bad? And would I be wasting my time?
