The best way to get salt out of your engine is to get a large 50 gal clean trashcan. Put 4 gallons of regular white viniger in it and fill the trashcan with water. Run your motor in the solution at idle for about 15- 20 minutes. You will be amazed at what comes out and ends up on the bottom of the trashcan. Once you have done this flush dump that out and refill with clean water. Add some dawn dishwashing soap to the clean water, don't make it sudsy, and run motor for about 5-10 minutes to neutralize the viniger.
