Rig them on a 7'-7'6" Medium-Medium Heavy rod with 65-80 pound braid and a 5.0-5.3 gear ratio baitcast and you are good to go. If you get hung you can straighten your jig head enough to free it up and get your rig back. Also if you catch multiples you wont break off. The lower gear ratio give you a litle more power to reel all that plastic in. Great rig for any type of schooling fish. Personally I like to put the small plastic swimbaits on there with the tails dipped in chartreuse. If you want a bama rig we have them at Academy. They are made by YUM and called a Yumbrella.
