I found this article completely insane...Rather, the lawsuit!
Suing a bat manufacturer and the retail store that sold it?! I mean, I hate what happened to this child but, had someone who knew CPR been on site at the time of the accident, maybe he would have had a better outcome...Rather, they waited a minute and a half before someone showed up who knew what to do!

Idiocy in the judicial system today!
I agree, Corey. Why is the bat manufacturer and the business that sold the bats liable at all? If (and I use that term loosly) anyone is liable...it should be the governing body of that kid's little league team. They are the ones that chose to use those bats. Anyone should be aware of the fact that a ball hit by an aluminum (any aluminum bat) will do9 so at a greater speed than a wooden bat. Seems a bit obvious to me. Hell, I still got two broken fingers that happened when hit by a Dudley T4000 softball about 30 years ago. Maybe I should'a sued. Reckon it's too late?

Note: The Dudley T4000 was abolished when a player in Florida died on the mound from congestive heart failure from that ball hitting him on his left chest.
