Tuesday Redfish Slam!
Tuesday was a day to remember for Steve Rowell & Rodney Burton from Tampa Bay, Fla. Our first stop of the morning was a bust so we kept moving and found redfish stacked on top each other at our second stop. Rodney put his order in to catch at least 30 reds by himself and he had no problem doing so. The guys caught in excess of 60 fish and had a blast catching & releasing the bronzebacks. My deckhand Chris Lake joined us again and we had our 20 fish limit iced down before 900am. The reds were located off a shallow ledge and feeding heavy on small crabs floating in the current. The action was fast & furious and I was able to get some great video of the trip. The guys were a blast to fish with and they'll be back soon for a return trip to the DU! Good luck fishing.
