Any of ya'll having issues with the water in fuel? Not sure on the new 6.7 but on the 6.4, they are telling me to drain the water separator at least monthly (even if instrument panel light is not coming on)and change the two fuel filters about every 10K miles or every other oil change. I had been doing the filters every other oil change, but only drained separator when light came on telling me to. This time light came on along with Power Reduction light (cuts engine power in half to protect from damage). Just had this problem less than a year ago and fixed by changing filters, fuel pump, cleaning water separator manifold, and replacing water in fuel sensor. That was done at a Ford dealer in Sulphur. This time they wanted to do all the same except for fuel pump at about $469. Had them button it all back up at no charge and brought to a Lake Charles Ford dealer. Replaced the two filters and cleaned Manifold and sensor at a cost of only $192. Both engine lights cleared and all is good. A gel type substance accumulates in fuel sensor manifold header and can foul up sensor and plug up drain.
So, just a heads up, drain separator and change filters often. Ford is not covering any fuel related damages under warranty. I have read alot about custormers with $9k to $11k worth of damage and warranty not covering it. Also gotta give props to the Lake Charles dealer - Bolton Ford Quick Lane.
