1. We need to clean up the BRPD and clean house.
If you do not live in Baton Rouge you shouldn't represent us.
When I was coming up in the same neighborhood I lived in we had officers that lived on
every street. Back then they were apart of the neighborhood. Now they are outsiders.
2. Open the city jail and start going after people with warrants.
Right now they sit on the porch laughing when they get a letter saying they got a warrant. These are people who are robbing people, breaking into homes, etc.
One time these thugs next to me stole a vehicle and the alarm was going off.
I called Baton Rouge Kiddy Police to report the incident. 6 hours later they show up.
Something wrong here.
If I was mayor I would lock this trash up and make them work hard time while in jail.
I would make a prison in Devi's Swamp. Make big tent cities. Make them work the fields to grow vegtables which 1/2 used to go foodbank and other 1/2 for retail sales to offset prison cost. Other jobs would be putting them on chain gangs cleaning up abandon homes, lots, and parks inside the city. Feed them franks and beans with rice that is it.
Until we start enforcing the laws, making judges accountable for enforcing the laws, and making jail hard time by making them work in the fields in the hot sun nothing going to happen. Just like training a dog with an invisible fence. After a few times of getting shocked they learn where the invisible fence line is.
