We have a 12" ceramic coated cast iron skillet.
Put 4 cups of canola oil in it and get it to about 200 degrees. Then slowly whisk in 6 cups of flour and stir it with a wooden spoon till it gets to be about the color of peanut butter. About 30-40 minutes. Keep your fire on a medium heat.
Make a little over a quart and last in the fridge about a month.
