Default Down in Texas_03 November 2012

My wife gave me a hall pass today (she's been on bedrest for 4+ weeks) so I took some much needed R&R and hit the bay with Capt. Hebert and his son. We immediately caught fish under a few birds and when we got tired of catching the little ones we headed to some reefs to drift with Maniacs. The big uns were absolutely inhaling pink and limetreuse maniacs - Capt Hebert let one go around 6lbs and we had several in the 3-4 range that got to swim another day.

Plum/Chartreuse and Limetreuse split tails on 1/4 YMB Red Devil jig heads also did their fair share of work. We were mainly fishing 3.5-4.5ft of water drifting near Trinity Bay. Great day to be on the water!!
