Beautiful Day On The DU!

Man what a pretty morning on the lake! A nice calm morning and the trout ate up like no tomorrow. I fished with David Faulk, Boyd Charles, Bob Mathews and Jack Carmena from Baton Rouge. We started off our day on the reefs picking up good trout under a cork with the Shiny Hinys doing a good job for the 4 man crew. The bite shut down after 20 fish and we moved on to other locations. At our next few stops we quickly filled the big 120 Qt igloo to the top with reds, trout and a few nice bass. Bunker swim baits crushed the fish and the Shiny Hiny did extremely well too. Capt Gerald had no problem filling the box too as he and his customer whacked the trout ! Over 140 fish today and looking forward to another great day tomorrow. Good luck fishing.
