Great Trout Bite!
Nov. 23.....75 trout in less than an hour! Fast and furious action for Shannon Lemoine and his son Chris from the Lafayette area. Shannon has been a great customer for years and he likes to catch'em quick and get the job done. The trout were eating up big time on anything we threw at them. LSU chubs worked the best as we had plenty to feed the hungry yellowmouths. We finished up at 7:40 a.m. with another full box. The tide was barely moving but it was moving just enough to trigger the bite. We scouted a couple of areas afterwards but only hooked up with 1 big redfish. Back at the Lakehouse for 9:00am as Shannon had plenty time to get back home for the LSU game. Always a pleasure to fish with Shannon and hopefully his return trip in December will be just as productive. Good luck fishing.
