 Those public land hunts can be tough and any deer is well earned.
 
 I just bought myself a vintage Remington model 742 in 6mm Remington.  I am not sure why I bought it as I have never really cared for the 742 and it has a reputation of jamming but this old 1963 model gun has a corncob style stock and a metal butt plate.  It is just a cool old gun.  I need to pick up some bullets for it.  You like the 100 grain Core Lokts?  Any others than have done well for you in .243/6mm?
