1 Click the Windows "Start" menu (on the bottom left) and type "mouse" into the Search field (then click search)

2 Click on the "Change Mouse Settings" link in the search results.

3 Click on the "Pointer Options" tab.

4 Move the Motion slider bar to the right for a faster speed and to the left for a slower speed.

5 Click "Apply" to apply the settings. Move your mouse to see if those are the settings you would like. If not, adjust the slider bar again. When you find the right setting for you, click "OK" to save the settings and close the window.
