Left marsh last night at dark heading back to town but encountered "Blue Lights" just north of choupique bayou. Shut it down and waited for him to do what they do, asked to exit truck, S&W in plane sight in door pocket. Hand over requested items;DL/Proof of insurance. Told i was clocked at 71/55, maybe but wasn't paying that much attention. He was cordial and asked the normal questions and I answered them the same way. Everything came back clean and he let me go with a warning to slow down. Did I handle this correctly or should I have told him to F-off??
