I start by saying I am not a deer management expert. But, LDWF has just conducted an intense study about the effect of feral hogs on deer population. The leading expert, Scott Durham, has recommended easing restrictions on the killing of hogs, including helicopter assaults.
Again, I am no expert, nor do I like all the money wasted on government "studies", but I thought I would add this for discussion.
