The labs stopped testing it cuz it went through thousands of hours of high pressure saltwater testing and finally they just stopped trying to make it rust. Also the coating is so slick that nothing will stick to it can literally wipe the parts with a dry paper towel and the gun will be cleaner than if you sat there scrubbing on it for an hour with normal gun cleaning products
