Default 1960 Excel

Long time lurker finally a post I can commit on.

I boat an 2011 Excel 1960CC with a 2010 Yamaha 70 2 stroke on it. Rig was used when I bought it.

My first thought was there was no way a 70 was gonna plane that big boat, to my surprise it planes in what seems like a boat length and runs 36 on the top end. Apparently there hull design really planes well with little power, boat is rated for a 115 hp.

The boat is a great fishing platform, lots of room, stable, nice front deck with front trim controls.

Like most other aluminum CC it is not a rough water boat.

It drafts very little water.

Very well built boat, 125 gauge, longitudinal ribs. comes with a full aluminum floor

I know I know I sound like a commercial for Excel boats but I really like mine, to me its a lifetime boat.
