Oryx is some of the finest meat anywhere. It is better than prime angus filet mignon in my opinion. They were targeted for a moratorium but some ranches have special permits to hunt/transport them. They are now extinct in the wilds of Africa, being harvested for their prime meat. Texas is the only place in the world where these animals live. Prices have skyrocketed as the demand has increased.
