Default Fourchon/GI report from last week.

My wife just passed her Captains Class in houston, so I decided to take her on a trip fishing for a few days.. She worked her butt off studying etc, and she deserved a few days break.

So I chose the location, and we picked GI/Fourchon since she hadnt really been there before and it had been years since i had been there.

We packed up and left the house at 3 am and arrived at Fourchon Marina at 9 am just in time for the sun to be bright and the fish to eat.

We got the boat in the water and headed west to do some exploring.

We found the fish almost immediately.. Those fish were everywhere we looked.

We threw mostly buggs fishing lures at them, but also threw some flats minnows and managed to each catch quite a few fish on the fly, as well as each having one Beast over 45" on topwater.

It was a great trip to say the least.
