Yeah I heard about that and I saw it on the agenda...hopefully they will be able to stop them from doing it any more. I would think the oil companies would have grounds for a suit since they are misappropriating the funds that were to be used specifically for the rigs to reefs program. An even worse scenario is that they would stop participating in the program altogether.

Yep, hopefully something will give. I posted a couple links in the other snapper thread and saw there was a job opening for a position dealing with the rigs to reefs program. Maybe the voices have been heard and this program will keep going forward. I thought I read somewhere there was a moratorium on platform removal as of now but I could be crazy
