I had to go to my in laws in Rayne this weekend and while I was there made a drive to my lease South of Kaplan......stopped and visited with the land owner since she was trying to get a farmer to plant rice this year. Looks like it will be set aside again (we have a lot of wild marsh grass and indigo) this year again which I rather than rice!
Hope we have another 16 day teal season.....
