Me and slayer hit the wade spot hoping that the low pressure system didn't have the fish back in deep water. Well they were deep. We were in water up to our chest before we finally got on some fish. We threw a mixture of corkys and found no particular distinguishing color or type. Fish were there just not that hungry. Slayer caught an 11 inch croaker on a corky that I decided to hook on a yellow Mouth jig head. Within 10 seconds of casting it out a trout started running with it. In my mind only a monster trout would hit a croaker that large but to my avail it was one of the smaller trout of the day around 3 lbs. Despite high winds and fish with lock jaw we still managed a nice stringer.
