Wright and McGills seem to break easy and warranty is very spotty. Anything Shimano and you can't go wrong. Convergence is $69 and a good rod with lifetime warranty and best part is over the counter warranty. No shipping back or paying repairs. Shimano Crucial is my favorite rod for money, good blanks, split grip and very sensitive. Lifetime warranty is hard to beat..
