Braved the 16 mph westerlies this afternoon and found a patch of fishable water. Everything else was terrible looking, so i beat it up for two hours. Finally found where a few were holding on some scattered mullet. Had a feeling the stained water necessitated a more profound sound than a Corky, so tied on an old Catch 5 that once was chartreuse, but now is closer to ripe banana. Nine bites, two smaller shake offs, one redfish and six trout. Two (19) two (20) and a couple around 16 inches.

Just love setting on a solid fish. Woulda liked getting a few big girls, but not bad for the first real trip of the year. Good times!
