depends on the time of year, structure, bait, etc...

i will throw a lure that will filter out a lot of the 12-18 inch fish to begin with. i don't really eat a ton of trout and it doesn't matter to me whether i get my limit or not. I would rather catch one 26 inch plus fish than my 15 barely legal trout. now dont get me wrong i have fun catching numbers too.
