Nothing causes greater fear in the criminally minded than the thought that they might take a bullet while committing their crimes. It is clear to all the living that a conviction for Zimmerman would have reduced the odds of criminals taking a bullet while in the midst of their crimes. They are mad because they now face the same odds of taking a bullet as before.
And make no mistake, Martin was a criminal. He died battering a man's head against the concrete while in possession of child pornography on his cell phone.
