I had the opportunity to try "BBQ Crabs" when we were in Grand Isle. We had the charcoal pit lit and coaled over, around 275. Pulled up crab trap at the dock, got a couple crabs out, walked over to the pit and threw them on. No season or cleaning. Took them off the pit after 15 or 20 minutes and ate em like you would boiled crabs. Meat was cooked, tender and you could taste that distinctive sweetness that only a blue point crab can provide.
