I agree with you. We get more consistent fronts in December. I think that has alot to do with it. The Biologist is basing his suggestion on past harvest numbers. He broke down week by week the number of birds killed, and decided that we had better hunting during the first few weeks of this season. I believed this a very biased approach though. We kill more birds those first few weeks because #1 the birds aren't educated yet. Also you have alot more people itching to get out and there to hunt and the number of people in the field slowly starts to slack off. His own numbers that he showed us right before proved that.
