Dave Roberts from West Virginia and his buddy Randy Crochet joined me today. We left bright and early from The Reel Inn Lodge. We found a much slower bite at our first stop than yesterday, but Dave had a hot rod and had keepers coming in one after another. Randy and I started to help him a bit then the bite shut down. We made a move finding some really nice fat specks and got on a steady bite. We all had them coming in for a while as the bite came in spurts. When things slowed we were on the move. Stick and move the rest of the day as we never really found that fast and furious bite today. It was a quality over quantity type day. No full limits but a nice solid box of fish and a fun time catching them. Every fish today caught tight lining Double rigged Matrix Shad Tiger, Avocado, and Green Hornet. Thanks guys for another great day.
