I thought the same thing untill I got a ticket for trespassing earlier this year in ramah. Sheriff said all the land along the levee is private. They never enforced it much untill people started tearing it up with atv's with big tires and trucks. Pisses me off cause I would launch a small flat off the levee this time of the year to get to areas nobody else can.
