I'm like fishmaster, I use the ziplock hand pump sealer now. It is super efficient and cheap. Formerly I used the ziploc battery powered sealer, but that thing ate waaayyy to many double AA batteries.

I have a friend that has a $200 jig and she says it gets hot real quick and takes a while to seal. The advantage to this one is that you can seal anything in any size you want. The bags come in a roll and you are only limited in width I think.

The ziploc vacuum seal bags only come in quart and gallon sized bags.

Compared to freezing in water vacuum seal take much less room and thaws super quick. Its a no brainer to switch over. Your doing the right thing.
