She won't be able to lift anything for a while. Especially anything with the horses. She could look into a sitter to stay with her if she needs that for a few days, and someone to help with the horses. In the hospital, they get you up and walking in a couple of days. She will be encouraged to walk a lot. Physical therapy will also be in the picture. Driving will be out for a while. A lot depends on the severity of the fracture and location. Have faith, Tim. It will work out.
