Basin trip
Took my brother to North Bigeaux yesterday ended up with 12 really nice fish. We had 8 over 14" We caught most the fish on top water and spinner baits fishing down parallel to the bank against the lilies. That was the ticket all morning till sun came up.
It was so good I couldn't resist and took my 5 year old back this morning. Pretty awesome to see a 5 yr old busting big bass on a buzz bait. Same pattern same spots. Done with one limit by 7am; bite slowed pretty significantly after sun up.
