"KAYAK RULES:27. For purpose of the STAR rules, a kayak is defined as any vessel that has no form of power other than that supplied by its occupant. Vessels powered by sail, combustion and electric engines are not eligible. No mothershipping (the transportation of a “kayak” by another boat or vessel to where the kayak operates independently from the boat or vessel that transports it) is allowed. Eligible fish: one speckled trout (over 14”). For the kayak division, the Louisiana Coast will be separated into four divisional competition areas; the West, South West, South East, and East; (identical to speckled trout in section 17) each having its own top prize fish."
