If you have a tach, then find the right mix of pitch to rpm. Raise the motor a little, or a jack plate would help with the same prop you have already. Do that before lowering the pitch of the prop. You want to hit 5500 wide open. I bet just raising it up will help.
Yes Sunday afternoon, you told me i had a nice looking hull? That was me and my girlfriend. I have a tiny tach which is reliable. I was thinking that just getting the motor a little higher would do the trick and just find the sweet spot. Thanks for the input.
