Default Big Lake 10/13

First off, I would like to thank "W" for his expertise and pointing me and my buddy in the right direction. 2nd off, I'd like to thank mother nature for the 10-20mph winds that kept changing every 5 minutes. 3rd off, I'd like to thank the birds for working so diligintly and effectively. Last but not least 4rth of all.... I'd like to thank the fella in the Kenner with the Suzuki 175 4-stroke for getting all up in my business and crossing lines with me..... Nice show of respect there fella. I know you had a woman in the boat and thats why i kept my mouth shut...

Report::::::: Launched at 0630. Beat the crowd of boats (10) to turners bay. Threw topwater for about an hr and had a few blow ups, but no bites. Buddy hooks into a nice sail cat using gulp. Drifted the reef at 1.5mph and picked up 2 keeper trout with 8 dinks. BINGO------Birds started working..... ALOT..... WE had a flock to ourselves for overn an hour. Picked up 10 solid trout. Seen W, Tim and Bob and headed towards the middle of the lake where the birds were working non-stop. After a few hours, we finally got our 20 more with a few sand trout and a red.

Caught the biggest speck of my life to date (ya'll can laugh, but it was over 20". Didnt get a weight, but I know everone on here has caught bigger) Pics below are of bait used mostly and of the fish that were caught.
