Default Meat & Gravy

I should have posted this last night but my wife had to use the computer to do some work on and then I got interested in something on TV.
Yesterday I cooked some Bottom Round Chuck Steaks with gravy to serve over rice. One of our favorites!!! The wife made a potato salad and I made some candied yams, the other veggie was canned Lesuer peas. Since this is a well loved and eaten dish around here I made a big batch in the oval Magnalite roaster.
Started off by browning the meat. Seasoned the meat as usual with granulated garlic, onion salt and black pepper.

After browning the meat, add the onions to deglaze the good stuff from the bottom of the pot.

After onions are tender add water to simmer down until good and tender.

Done and ready to enjoy!

Since it was breezy and cool I decided to light the old firepit to enjoy the aroma of burning wood.

Of course it was time to enjoy an ice cold Abita Andygator.

Candied yams done!

I almost forgot. I decided to make a batch of homemade rolls.

This was such a good meal last night I had it again tonight and enjoyed it as much if not more. I hate calling it leftovers because it was so darn good.
