I have a small houseboat at the wax and have hunted it for about 8 or ten years and it seems to change every year. Way more ppl and seems like the big rafts of birds are getting farther offshore but the hunting is still good if you are willing to work.The presure is not near as bad on the weekdays and i work shiftwork so i mostly stay away from weekend hunts especially early on in the season most people get enough of the wax pretty quick. But it is getting harder and harder to pass up on easy hunts at the father inlaws lease where i could hunt in crocs. One thing i have learned the hard way about the wax is you better hunt the tides if not dont tell the ol lady what time to expect you cause you wont decide that the wax will.
