You mean offshore or inshore? Inshore guides dont have deckhands, but if you can learn an area pretty well sometimes you can get on with a charter company to start making a name for yourself. You have to supply your own boat usually. Most guides run 22-24ft bay boats so they can fish 3-4 sports Offshore go to Venice, Grand Isle, or Cocodrie.
