Im no expert by any means.

Just sharing what I have learned from being on the water in the Gulf with rod and reel in my hands.

You may be right, it may be due to pressure, but I am confident that the size of red snapper is DIRECTLY related to water depth out of G.I.

That doesn't mean you wont find ANY big ones closer in. What I mean is that the avergae size of fish we pull up from rigs at 250' is bigger than the average at 150'.

I sure wish I knew where we could catch nice Red snapper in 60'.
