When I fished for a large Lafitte Guide service , a few years ago, they had a couple of the then new 24ft bay boats on demo.
They rode terrible, cracked welds and if they were loaded with 4 people, fuel, ice etc, struggled to get up on plane. They had the max rated hp, but I forget what that was.
Oh yeah, they drafted a lot more than any of our glass bay boats, when loaded , making shallow water Redfishing a challenge, to say the least.
We were all offered to purchase them at a ridiculously discounted price, but none were bought as we all thought they were total junk.
Just giving an honest assessment, I would steer well clear.
