its been out over two years already now and IMO its just another one of those ideas that sounds good but is too impractical to be of any real use.

its a crimp on system so a one time connection and if your line is frayed cut it off and throw it all away then get another new expensive hook to redo your line. even with the quick connect connection on the end it doesn't solve the frayed line issue.

IF you never get frayed line and IF you never want to use a different hook then this might be something that works if you don't mind the extra expense.

I think this would be best suited for offshore rigs where you aren't fishing around oyster beds and you don't change baits or hooks much.

it definitely is a novel idea to try and solve the slipping knots with braid line issue
