Teal 2014
I was lucky enough to get an invite to opening day of teal 2014 in Thornwell with my son. I could care less about shooting anything, but he is a duck hunting freak and stays awake at night over ducks. Come to think of it, he is just like me when I was that age! Saturday morning was a little slow to start, but the action came in little by little and we got it done. Then we went to make a afternoon hunt yesterday afternoon and the ducks kicked our tail. We should have been finished with a 3 man limit pretty easy, but we could not hit the side of a barn for some reason. The highlight was Connor getting his first banded bird, which was banded in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada in 2012.
