in cases like this its mostly voltage related so if you replaced the battery then ohm out the main battery cables and check for any corrosion on them or any plug connectors in the circuits used for power or signals to shift.

im pretty sure you will find your problem is a bad wire or plug connection somewhere, but I will add that it could also be something on the opposite end of the wires so if its not the battery it could be the electronic shift mechanism itself but that's very very rare to ever go bad but it does happen
