Was out there this afternoon. Launched about 3 p.m. and while there were plenty trucks/trailers at the landing, only saw 5 boats in the Cove. We headed to West Cote Blanche and tried for reds then to the island for an hour or so. Only caught one large sheepshead and one nice croaker and plenty of gray trout. Called it a day about 5:30. We were there and did well. It helped we came around a bend and saw a slick at the perfect time though. 5min earlier or later we woulda never noticed it.
